L’histoire de l’Aston Martin DB9

L’Aston Martin DB9 est une voiture de grand tourisme britannique présentée pour la première fois par Aston Martin au Salon de l’auto de Francfort 2003. Disponible à la fois en coupé et en cabriolet, ce dernier étant connu sous le nom de Volante, le DB9 était le successeur de la DB7. C’était le premier modèle construit à l’usine Aston Martin de Gaydon.

La DB9, a une construction en aluminium. Le châssis est la plate-forme développée par Ford tandis que le moteur est le V12 de 5,9 litres de la Vanquish. Le lifting de l’année modèle 2013 a vu de nombreuses améliorations à la conception, au moteur et à l’expérience de conduite globale.

La production de la DB9 a pris fin après 12 ans en 2016, après avoir été remplacée par la DB11qui utilise une toute nouvelle plate-forme et un tout nouveau moteur.
